Morgan promises Liverpool £73 million
ersey-based Morgan, who admits to hitch-hiking around Europe in support of his heroes and "bunking into grounds when I didn't have two pennies to rub together", now has the finances to challenge Thailand Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra for a major share of the Anfield club.
The club's board will consider both offers later this week when chief executive Rick Parry returns from Bangkok with the details of the Thai's £60 million bid for a 30% stake.
