Stuttgart snap up Hitzlsperger

ASTON VILLA midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger has agreed a move to VfB Stuttgart, according to the German club.

The German international is set to leave Villa Park on a free transfer in the summer to join the Bundesliga club.

Hitzlsperger, who joined Villa from Bayern Munich’s youth team in August 2000, has been unable to agree terms over a new contract in a long-running saga.
