SCOTLAND’S first minister Jack McConnell fears the Scotland/Ireland bid for the 2008 European Championships in may already have been scuppered.

The Gaelic countries were joint favourites with the Austria/Switzerland bid to secure the tournament.

But the First Minister is concerned UEFA may already have decided the winners ahead of the final announcement on December 13.
