Mutu ready to fight for his place in Juventus line-up

ADRIAN MUTU is ready to put a troubling year firmly behind him and fight his way into the Juventus starting line-up next season.

The Romanian striker joined Juve on a free transfer in January, following his sacking by Chelsea for testing positive for cocaine in September 2004.

And with the likes of David Trezeguet, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alessandro Del Piero already ahead of him in Fabio Capello’s attacking pecking order, Mutu faces one of the biggest challenges of his eventful career to break into the side.
