PAT DEVLIN’S tireless service to Bray Wanderers has been rewarded with the respected coach being named as manager of an U21 eircom league selection that will participate in a Four Nations tournament in Aberdeen next month.

Devlin, whose reputation as a spotter of talented youngsters was copper-fastened by his discovery of Damien Duff, will take a panel of 18 players to compete against England, Scotland and Wales in this year's semi-professional tournament, May 18 and May 23.

While the Irish squad is drawn from the eircom league, the English team will come from the Vauxhall Conference, Wales from the Welsh Premier League and the Scottish team from the Highland and Northern/Southern leagues.
