Gillespie left out of North squad

LONG-SERVING winger Keith Gillespie has been omitted from the Northern Ireland squad to face Azerbaijan and Austria in World Cup qualifiers.

Gillespie, with 56 caps for the North, has made only four appearances as substitute for Leicester this season.

Lawrie Sanchez leaves Gillespie behind even though Michael Hughes is sidelined through suspension. Banned striker David Healy will also miss the game in Baku.
