Henry is spot on for Arsene

ARSENE WENGER insists that he has no doubts in keeping Thierry Henry as Arsenal’s penalty-taker despite his failure to score from the spot in his past three attempts.

Henry was one of three high-profile strikers to miss from 12 yards last weekend, along with Michael Owen and Alan Smith.

Henry nevertheless shows no signs of self-doubts ahead of tonight’s Champions League tie at PSV Eindhoven and will therefore again be given the responsibility.

Wenger insisted: ‘‘It doesn’t look to me like there has been any psychological impact on the way that Thierry takes penalties.

PSV Eindhoven boss Guus Hiddink, who pits his wits against Arsenal tonight after taking South Korea to the World Cup semi-finals, revealed how he has endured a death threat since his return to Holland.

Hiddink, the former Holland national coach, received an anonymous letter containing two bullets, believed to have been sent by hooligans from PSV’s rivals Feyenoord.

He admits he even thought about quitting the game at one stage but has now resolved not to be defeated by ‘‘idiots’’.
