Shocked Virgo says “jaw hit the floor” over Celtic move

CELTIC fan Adam Virgo admitted his “jaw hit the floor” when he learned that he would be leaving Brighton to join his boyhood heroes.

The defender will join the Glasgow club subject to passing a medical and agreeing personal terms today after the Coca-Cola Championship side accepted a €2.1m bid for his services.

And Virgo had no inkling of Celtic's interest when Brighton boss Mark McGhee pulled him to one side at the weekend.
