Reiziger set for ’Boro switch

HOLLAND defender Michael Reiziger claims his talks with Middlesbrough are ongoing and that he expects to play in the Premiership next season.

The Barcelona defender had an outstanding campaign at the Nou Camp but president Joan Laporta is planning a shake-up and has told Reiziger he needs to find a new club.

“I am negotiating with Middlesbrough, the negotiations are going well,” said Reiziger, who has been a target for several other clubs including Valencia.
