Madrid don’t need Keane, says Saachi

DEPARTING Real Madrid director of football Arrigo Saachi has advised the club they do NOT need Roy Keane.

The former Man United captain has been strongly linked with a move to Spain. But Saachi, who is quitting Madrid for personal reasons, believes there is no room for Keane in the Real squad.

“Personally, I don’t see it is necessary to sign him or anyone in January,” Saachi said.
