Roeder stable after collapse

WEST HAM manager Glenn Roeder, pictured, was taken to hospital for tests last night after being taken ill following the Hammers’ 1-0 Premiership win over Middlesbrough at Upton Park.

West Ham spokesman Peter Stewart said: “Glenn suddenly collapsed after the game today with chest pains.

“He has been having scans and tests and he is in a stable condition.”
