Keeper backs Claridge departure
Claridge's reign was brought to an end on Tuesday night after only 36 days in charge, with Millwall announcing that former Wolves and Walsall boss Colin Lee would be his successor.
And Marshall, 30, revealed he had become concerned about Claridge's style of management during pre-season. "I'm an experienced player, I've been through many pre-seasons and this one was not right.
"I spoke to Steve today and told him my feelings on the matter, but what we said will remain between him and me.
"Steve was brought in by (former chairman Jeff Burnige, and I think that when Jeff left last month the situation changed."
