Former World Cup winner Youri Djorkaeff has rejected Bolton’s offer of a new 12-month contract.

The 36-year-old, who joined Wanderers in February 2002 from Kaiserslautern, could now be on his way out of the Reebok Stadium if nothing is agreed.

“I have to make what I think is a professional valuation and that has fallen short of what Youri thinks he is worth,” Bolton boss Sam Allardyce said.
