Jewell stays level headed

Jewell, whose team won at Millwall on Tuesday, said: “it was a great performance, very controlled with some fantastic football played. The game was too open for my liking but we managed to dominate.” The win went some way to erasing the painful memory of last season when they lost 4-0 at Upton Park, were knocked out of the FA Cup by the Hammers and were denied a play-off spot by a late Brian Deane header on the last day.

Jewell added: “the players are learning from last season’s experience.”
