Lennon on trial as Bhoys set to welcome Juninho

The World Cup winner’s agent confirmed yesterday he was set to arrive at Parkhead today after finally resolving some outstanding issues at Middlesbrough. But O’Neill is still concerned by the accusations flying at his influential midfielder for his role in the controversial sending-off of Inverness Caledonian Thistle player Juanjo.

The Spaniard and team-mate Barry Wilson claimed the Northern Irishman over-reacted to get him dismissed. O’Neill has sent for a video of the incident but admitted he would be shocked if the evidence goes against his man.

The Scottish FA refused to view evidence of the incident and take any action against the controversial Celtic star to clear him for Sunday’s date with Rangers.
