Zola works his socks off for Blues

CHELSEA’S strikers have spent most of the season so far trying to pull their socks up. Except for Gianfranco Zola that is — he has been working his off.

Zola is determined to have one last hurrah for Chelsea in what is likely to be his final season at the club, having spent the summer engaged in a strenuous fitness schedule.

Such dedication is paying off for the 36-year-old Sardinian, as he is Chelsea’s leading scorer with four goals in five games, more than he mustered during the whole of the last season.
