Robson ‘not just a big spender’

WEST BROM chairman Jeremy Peace believes the perception of Bryan Robson as a cheque-book manager is a “fallacy.”

And he is confident the differing experiences of Robson at Middlesbrough and Bradford City will stand him in good stead.

The new Baggies manager brought in the likes of Fabrizio Ravanelli, Juninho and Emerson during his seven-year spell with Boro which ended in 2001.
