FRANK BURROWS has urged West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace and departed manager Gary Megson to thrash out their differences “so that the football club can go forward.”

The two parties look set to clash over the compensation package Megson believes he is entitled to after stating he did not intend to stay at The Hawthorns once his contract runs out next summer.

Peace and the Albion board interpreted that statement from Megson as a letter of resignation and opted to cancel his contract on Tuesday. However, caretaker boss Burrows, in charge for tomorrow’s home Premiership clash with Chelsea, believes the quicker all parties can compromise the better for everyone involved.
