Leeds determined to keep hot-shot Viduka
The Yorkshire club are determined to hold onto their leading scorer for the last three seasons, despite claims from Viduka’s outspoken agent that Champions League winners AC Milan are now chasing the Australia international.
Viduka scored 13 goals in the closing nine matches last season to take his tally to 22 for the campaign.
His agent Andrea D’Amico said Spurs were initially purported to be after the 27-year-old, while six-times European Cup winners Milan are the latest to be eyeing up Viduka.
However, Viduka late last season stressed his desire to stay at Leeds.
Leeds Chairman Jon McKenzie, meanwhile, will be making another attempt next week to convince Harry Kewell to remain with Leeds, despite Arsenal closing in on the Aussie ace.
McKenzie is hoping Kewell will sign a new contract, but Champions League football next season with the Gunners is likely to prove irresistible should Arsenal follow up their initial inquiry.
