Cork up against Derry again

CORK CITY and Derry City share the Personality of the Year shortlist for the 2005 eircom/Soccer Writers Association of Ireland awards, which will be announced at an awards ceremony in Dublin on January 13.

The Personality shortlist includes Cork manager Damien Richardson along with George O’Callaghan and Joe Gamble, while Derry are represented by boss Stephen Kenny, Peter Hutton and striker Mark Farren.

Derry’s David Forde and Cork’s Michael Devine, along with Shamrock Rovers’ Barry Murphy are on the Goalkeeper shortlist.
