Arsenal offer Henry five-year contract

The Gunners are desperate to keep Henry, who has been linked with a summer move to Barcelona, and Hill-Wood claimed that he is ready to break the bank to convince the striker to stay.

“I’m not going to say what (the contract) is, but it made me shudder. It’s a lot of money. It’s for five years. Arsene Wenger thinks he’s physically capable of playing for another five years,” he said. “We’ve made him an offer which is probably as good an offer as anybody in this country - maybe other than Chelsea - would make.”
