Kewell set for Aussie outing

HARRY KEWELL is poised to make a rare appearance on home soil for Australia in tomorrow’s second leg of the OFC Nations Cup final against the Solomon Islands.
Kewell set for Aussie outing

The Liverpool midfielder missed Saturday’s away leg because of a groin injury, but treatment should ensure he is fit for the Aussie Stadium clash.

The Socceroos will take a four-goal cushion into the clash in Sydney after routing the Solomons 5-1 in Honiara.

Both Kewell and former Coventry striker John Aloisi missed that game through injury, but Socceroos coach Frank Farina is keen to have them back in the side. “I’ll be very disappointed if Aloisi and Kewell are not available,” said Farina.
