City offer prize for design of new shirt

CORK CITY FC have announced details of a design competition for a special edition football kit to celebrate Cork 2005.

The club is offering a prize of €2,005 to the designer or design team of the winning special-edition jersey to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the club’s formation and to celebrate Cork’s designation as European Capital of Culture. The winning design will be worn by the team in the 2005 season and will also be made available to fans.

The competition is open to both professional and amateur designers with a connection to the city of Cork. Designs must be submitted on the official design template which can be obtained from Cork City FC or from http://www.corkcityfc.ie/ www.corkcityfc.ie.
