Barca up offer to Davids

BARCELONA are to bow to Edgar Davids’ demands and offer the Holland midfielder a three-year contract.

Davids, who has excelled at the Nou Camp after his loan move from Juventus, is available on a free transfer but rejected Barca’s two-year offer on Tuesday.

Club president Joan Laporta confirmed fresh terms will be offered to try and beat off interest from England and Italy.
