Levante target Shearer after signing Harte

NEWCASTLE skipper Alan Shearer is a target for Primera Liga Levante.

President Pedro Villaroel has targeted the former England striker who is planning to retire from playing at the end of the coming Premiership season.

Villaroel confirmed the newly-promoted side were interested in attracting Shearer to the Valencia-based club on a two-year contract.
