Tosh ‘tried to humiliate me’ — Savage

ROBBIE SAVAGE has accused Wales boss John Toshack of trying to humiliate him by leaving him out of the World Cup qualifiers against Austria.

The Blackburn star, an outspoken critic of Toshack’s appointment to take over from Mark Hughes, admitted that Toshack had phoned him earlier yesterday to tell him he was not going to selected.

And Savage insists he had not intended to retire from international football before that point but that Toshack “had made the decision for me.”
