FA handled Rio case like 'a schoolboy matter,' says Blatter
"[The Rio Ferdinand case] was handled like a schoolboy matter," Blatter said yesterday.
"It was how a matter should not be dealt with." Blatter said the case was a classic example of how the matter must not be conducted in future and called on the FA to clean up its act. "The regulations of Fifa are very clear. If someone deliberately misses a doping test, he must be suspended immediately," Blatter said.
