McCaffrey ready to experiment

REPUBLIC of Ireland U18 Manager Seán McCaffrey has announced an experimental squad for a double friendly in Malta next month.

“Established players such as Anthony Stokes, Stephen Henderson, Eddie Nolan, Simon Madden and Stephen Gleeson have been omitted so I have a chance to see other players perform,” he said.

The side play Malta on February 6 and February 8.
