Charlton sweat on UEFA place

CHARLTON have been confirmed as the FA’s representatives in the draw for an extra place in next season’s UEFA Cup via the Fair Play League.

The side finished third in disciplinary-based rankings, behind Arsenal and Chelsea. However, with both of those clubs having already secured a place in the Champions League, they go forward to the ballot.

With Sweden leading the way England’s nominee look set to go into the draw for the two extra places.
