Woodgate may make Real debut

JONATHAN Woodgate could finally make his first senior appearance for Real Madrid tonight after being called into their squad to face an all-star team from the US Major League Soccer.

Real coach Wanderley Luxemburgo has summoned all of his players for the annual Santiago Bernabeu Trophy, but refused to speculate as to whether Woodgate would play.

“At the moment we have planned a game for him on Wednesday so he can go on gaining confidence, we have still not decided if he will play some minutes on Tuesday or not,” Luxemburgo said.
