Tottenham seek new manager as Hoddle is first Premiership casualty of season

TOTTENHAM last night announced that manager Glenn Hoddle has left the club with immediate effect.

Former England boss Hoddle has come under increasing pressure at White Hart Lane following the club’s disappointing start to the new Barclaycard Premiership season.

Saturday's 3-1 defeat by Southampton appears to have come as the final straw for Hoddle, who left the south coast club to take over at Spurs two years ago.
