Bergkamp issues quit threat to Arsenal

DENNIS BERGKAMP’S agent has revealed the Dutch striker could quit football if he does not get the contract he believes he deserves from Arsenal.

The former Ajax star’s current deal expired this summer but he wants to stay at Highbury. However, Robert Jensen admitted Bergkamp has been disappointed by the offer he has been made by the Gunners.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal defender Oleg Luzhny is close to becoming the first close-season signing of Barclaycard Premiership newcomers Wolves.
