Wenger facing Real test

ARSENE WENGER will have little choice but to take a depleted Arsenal squad to Madrid for next week’s Champions League clash at the Bernabeu.

Already with so many key men still injured, Wenger must also do without Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who is cup-tied.

Forward Jose Antonio Reyes is a major doubt after suffering bruising to his leg against Bolton last weekend, but it is at the back where Wenger has real selection concerns, with Mathieu Flamini set to continue on the left side of defence as both Ashley Cole and Gael Clichy are still not fit.

Sol Campbell is also missing because of his ankle problem, while Pascal Cygan (hamstring) and Kerrea Gilbert (back) are also out, with Lauren (knee) a long-term absentee.

Non-flying Dutchman Dennis Bergkamp could make the trip to Spain by sea, compensating for the absence of Robin van Persie.
