Defender Josemi set to be Benitez’s first Pool purchase

SPANISH utility defender Josemi has agreed personal terms with Liverpool football club.

The deal to sign the Malaga player is now subject to him undergoing a medical examination by the club’s doctors and if he passes that Liverpool will pay Malaga a fee of £2 million.

“We are close to signing Josemi,” Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez said.
