Boston seek Gascoigne for coaching role
Evans, along with chairman Jon Sotnick, is due to fly out to Portugal on Tuesday for a meeting with the former Newcastle, Tottenham, Lazio and Rangers playmaker to discuss a possible coaching role. The Pilgrims boss has already held initial talks with Gascoigne and his agent, and he is looking to make more progress.
Evans said: “We would love Paul to come to York Street in a coaching capacity.
“We have already had some positive talks with Paul and we would like to think that we have something that would interest him and fit his needs.”
