Arsenal target Baptista ‘pivotal’ to Sevilla

SEVILLA coach Juande Ramos has described Arsenal and Tottenham target Julio Baptista as “pivotal” to the future of the club and is desperate for the striker to stay.

The Brazil international has been linked with a move to the Premiership while Spanish champions Barcelona are also reportedly interested in signing the 23-year-old.

However, Baptista has claimed he has no intention of leaving Spain for at least another year, allowing him time to earn Spanish citizenship.
