Balde will not be charged over match incident
It was claimed the defender raised his hands to Jim Hamilton in last Sunday’s 2-1 Bank of Scotland Premier League win at Parkhead.
However, the SFA have announced their review panel will not be investigating the matter further. Balde is cleared of any wrongdoing and escapes any suspension.
Drew Herbertson, head of their disciplinary and refereeing department, told the Press Association: “The matter will not be referred to the review panel, and the matter is now closed.
“It was an incident which doesn’t warrant any investigation.”
Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell is looking forward, meanwhile, to Sunday’s Old Firm Scottish Cup match at Celtic Park.
