Roma deny rumours of foreign takeover
Yesterday’s Gazzetta dello Sport said Russian company Nafta Moscow had reached an agreement with Roma president Franco Sensi to pay €400 million for the 2001 Italian champions, now second in Serie A.
“AS Roma states that at the present moment no concrete formal offer has been received and there is no agreement of any kind between the two companies, neither in relation to an eventual sale price or an eventual contract,” it said.
