Man held after break-in at Lampard home

A MAN was arrested yesterday after a break-in at the home of Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

English police were called in the early hours of yesterday morning but said no one was hurt in the incident. Lampard and his partner were in the house at the time.

Two cars, a television screen and computer equipment were stolen in the raid but were quickly recovered by police.

“A man was later arrested in Battersea and is being questioned at a police station in west London,” a police spokesman said.
