Deschamps: I need a rest

FORMER Chelsea midfielder Didier Deschamps has ruled himself out of an immediate return to coaching after quitting as Monaco boss.

Deschamps ended his four-year spell with the club on Monday following a poor start to the French season and has already been linked to Real Madrid.

Deschamps heavily criticised the club’s lack of finances to enable him to strengthen his squad, insisting he did not believe the team was capable of winning the title.
