Angulo snubs Arsenal move

Valencia midfielder Miguel Angulo yesterday revealed why he snubbed a move to Arsenal.

The 27-year-old had the chance to move to Highbury on a four-year contract on transfer deadline day - but chose to stay at the Mestalla, signing a new contract.

Angulo said a sudden change of heart - and a desire to finish his career at Valencia - made him pull out of the deal, even though he had completed the first part of his medical with the Premiership champions.
