Morrison ready to sign new deal

CLINTON MORRISON has revealed his willingness to sign a new contract with Birmingham – and the Republic of Ireland striker believes he can fulfil his ambitions with the midlands club.

Morrison, who was Birmingham’s record signing when he moved from Crystal Palace for £4.5m in 2002, has 18 months left on his deal.

But the striker wants to stay longterm and talks over a new deal will get under way at the end of the season.
