Parlour set for move to Middlesbrough

MIDDLESBROUGH boss Steve McClaren was yesterday closing in on another transfer target as he continued his rebuilding work.

Boro were saying nothing about a move for Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour, but it is understood the 31- year-old underwent a medical after the two clubs agreed a £1.7m transfer.

Parlour’s agent Steve Kutner said: “Middlesbrough and Arsenal have agreed a deal.
