O’Neill bids to secure Celtic’s commanding position

CELTIC manager Martin O’Neill, pictured, has already started to turn his attention to next season as he bids to secure the club’s commanding position in Scottish football.

Celtic have all but wrapped up this season's Scottish Premier League title, the Parkhead club already 13 points clear of arch-rivals and reigning champions Rangers who are 14 points ahead of third-placed Hearts.

Meanwhile Celtic, last year's beaten UEFA Cup finalists, made a successful start to this season's edition of the tournament with a 3-0 home win over Czech side Teplice at Parkhead on Wednesday.
