IRELAND’s U19 team lost to Denmark by 2-1 in their third and final game in the tournament in La Manga in Spain yesterday.

Sean McCaffrey’s players, who lost 3-0 to the Czech Republic on Thursday, had an early setback when UCD’s Gary Dicker conceded an own goal but levelled through an own goal. The Danes then hit back in the final quarter and held out for the victory.
