Edu hopes to stay

Arsenal midfielder Edu has revealed he still hopes to stay with the Gunners after his contract expires in the summer.

The Brazilian has been linked with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, but said he hopes to stay at Highbury.

The lack of a third offer has meant Edu has had to consider a move away from the Gunners, who he joined in 2001 for £6m.
