SKY TELEVISION executives are likely to claw back money from the FAI under the terms of a revised deal to screen Republic of Ireland internationals.

Sky Television are likely to claw back money from FAI

Representatives from both organisations will meet in advance of Ireland’s next two Euro 2004 qualifiers in June to discuss the fall-out from the Government’s ‘listing’ of home internationals for TV coverage.

Though Sky Television sources indicate that there are clear financial implications for the contract with the FAI, Merrion Square officials are confident that they will retain the €7.5m value of the Sky contract through combined incomes.
