United on warpath over agents

LYN OSLO and Manchester United are to report agents Rune Hauge and John Shittu, plus Barclays Premiership champions Chelsea to FIFA over the John Obi Mikel transfer wrangle.

United chief executive David Gill will co-sign an official letter with Lyn sporting director Morgan Anderson citing all three parties in their complaint over Mikel.

While the details of the letter are unclear, it appears it will centre around allegations that Mikel has been the subject of an illegal approach which caused his dramatic about-turn last week when he claimed he had been ‘bullied’ into signing for United.
