Seba extends loan at Inter

CHELSEA midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron looks set to sign on loan for Inter Milan for a further two seasons.

The 30-year-old was on loan at the San Siro last season after one campaign at Stamford Bridge under former boss Claudio Ranieri.

Subject to the completion of final paperwork, the Argentina international’s new deal will start on July 1.

The former Manchester United man is set to be a key player for Roberto Mancini’s side as they aim to improve on last season’s Serie A campaign when they came third and won the Coppa Italia.

Chelsea signed Veron in the summer of 2003 for €22.5 million but he suffered an injury-hit spell at Stamford Bridge - making only14 appearances and scoring one goal.
