City-Derry match a sell-out

THE Cork City clash with Derry City at Turner’s Cross on Friday, November 18 (kick off 7.45pm) is expected to be sold out by this morning, the first time a league game at the venue has sold out more than a week in advance.

City-Derry match a sell-out

Derry have received 500 tickets for the match that could decide the title and are expected to take up their full complement in a crowd which will fill Turner’s Cross to its 7,000 capacity.

Although the match is widely being seen as an alternative ‘cup final’, Cork could lift the title before Friday week, should Damien Richardson’s men beat Shelbourne in Tolka Park tomorrow night and Derry lose to St Pat’s at the Brandywell on Saturday.
